A couple of quick updates friends and neighbors from the president:
• As of this past Parks Board meeting the Moores Park pavilion is not budgeted for replacement this year. Please take the time to attend the Lansing Parks and Recreation Planned Projects Roundtable, tomorrow March 22, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at 600 W Maple St, Lansing, MI 48906 to ask that the pavilion be included in this years project list. The park and our neighborhood use the pavilion as a community center of activity year round and having it gone prevents everyone in the community from using the park to its fullest.
• MPNO has been awarded funds from the City of Lansing Love Your Block grant! In the coming weeks we’ll be revising our scope to match the new budget and submitting a revised plan and schedule soon so stay tuned for upcoming polls and updates!
