Every five years the City of Lansing approves a Master Plan for Parks & Recreation. There is a proposed River Trail Extension from Moores Park to Grand River Park in this plan. The programs and the potential spending for capital improvements to the city park systems will be reviewed at two upcoming meetings: The first one will be at the Informational Committee of the Whole Meeting on Thursday, March 19 at 6:30 pm in the Clerk’s Room at the South Washington Armory, 2500 S. Washington Avenue, City Clerk Election Unit (rear entrance) – and the second one will be a Public Hearing before City Council on Monday, March 23 at 7:00 p.m.
