Saturday, May 14th Neighborhood Pride Week kicks off- events will be happening in neighborhoods throughout the city starting on the 14th and going through the 21st. The attached document has info about all the events that are part of that. There are two that MPNO will be participating in:

Wednesday, May 18th Love Lansing Celebration- from 5:30-8:30 at the Lansing Center, the city will celebrate neighborhoods and community leaders at this free event. We’ll have our display up with info on the neighborhood.

Thursday, May 19th Osband Orchard TruNeighbor Event– at 9am, city planning and TruGreen will unveil the new green space located  at 1845 Osband Ave which was the site of one of our neighborhood vacant house demolitions last year through the Land Bank. With input from the surrounding neighbors, this site has been turned into a small orchard with perennial flower beds. Join us to see the transformation or stop in anytime and check it out!

Thursday, May 26th Moores Monthly Meetup- from 5-7pm on the last Thursday of each month, neighbors are invited to meet at a local bar/restaurant for a casual, social event. It’s just drop in style to support a local business and give people an opportunity to meet new neighbors or catch up with old ones. This month, we’ll meet at Corey’s!
